Member Duties : This CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will work to achieve three goals.
Their first goal is to increase the number of nonprofits who receive capacity building information and services from Nonprofit Prince George’s County (NPGC). They will do this through reviewing different databases of nonprofits in Prince George's County and creating and implementing a media and outreach plan for NPGC.
Their second goal will be to assist in increasing the capacity building services that NPGC currently provides. They will assist with events hosted by NPGC as well as add additional organizations to and raise awareness about the Services 24/7 virtual resource center.
Their third goal will be to increase the number of agencies receiving volunteers from the University of Maryland. They will do this by identifying nonprofits, solidifying partnership organization relationships, and recruiting student leaders and participants for new volunteer sites.
