The Development & Special Projects VISTA will coordinate and support development activities needed to address the sustainability of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia's key programs, and increase overall attendance for HMHB's events, campaigns, and engagements.

Member Duties : -Conduct quarterly review of HMHB strategic plan in collaboration with key staff members -Maintain annual grant application calendar and submit applications throughout the year -Update and implement annual development plan for the organization that involves fundraising and resource development -Support HMHB participation in Giving Tuesday, and Georgia Gives Day to identify volunteers and individual supporters for HMHB's programs. -Assist the Mission Support Specialist with management of HMHB's key events, including planning, registration, securing in-kind donations, sponsor relations, day-of logistics and post-event review -Assist Executive Director and Mission Support Specialist in management and coordination of monthly Public Affairs Committee Call to organize Board and volunteer involvement in marketing, events and fundraising efforts. -Assist Mission Support Specialist in volunteer on-boarding and management, including coordination of Support Appreciation Events.
