The Immigration Liaison works with immigrant and refugee community members and stakeholder groups, including non-profits and faith-based organizations to establish a strong network by increasing and strengthen coordination with the goal of connecting the immigrant and refugee community to services.

Member Duties : Build the capacity of the Office of the Immigration Liaison and the immigration and refugee stakeholders. The member will engage with the stakeholder community and support their efforts to define the priorities, objectives, activities, and programs that are needed • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of stakeholder meetings, as well as identifying the resources needed for successful collaboration. The member will coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholder groups to collect the necessary data for capacity building. The member will monitor the progress of stakeholder defined objectives, goals, activities, and deliverables. Assist with the collection, interpretation, and presentation of data derived from the collaborative efforts and direct outreach to the community, as well as data describing San Antonio’s immigrant and refugee communities.
