| Member Duties : Work with assigned students identified as needing extra reading assistance. Tutor students using AARP Foundation EC approved curriculum and materials. Model appropriate behavior for children. Attend and participate in a minimum of 25 hours of pre- and in-service tutor training throughout the year. Attend and participate in team meetings. Communicate any concerns, questions, or challenges to Site Coordinator and/or Program Coordinator. Be willing to serve as a volunteer tutor substitute. Maintain accurate records of daily tutoring sessions and volunteer service. Participate in site observations by Site Coordinator and/or Program Coordinator. Participate in formal service reviews by Site Coordinator twice during school year. Arrive on time. Notify the Site Coordinator by 10:00 a.m. about unplanned absences or tardiness. Respect the privacy of the students by keeping names and progress of students confidential. Agree and adhere to all ECPHX program and school policies.
