UCHM Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA

The Community Engagement Coordinator will strengthen the capacity of United Crescent Hill Ministries (UCHM) through volunteer management, fundraising, and community outreach in order to better serve and empower underserved families in the Louisville Metro area. United Crescent Hill Ministries, created and sustained by neighborhood communities of faith, in relationship with organizations, individuals, and businesses, builds better community by serving our neighbors with programs, activities, and services that enrich their lives physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. The Community Engagement Coordinator will build upon the accomplishments of previous VISTA members to oversee the volunteer program at UCHM and create much-needed awareness in the community about UCHM’s mission. Additionally, the Community Engagement Coordinator will support the agency through development initiatives such as identifying new funding opportunities, coordinating and writing grant applications, and planning fundraising events.
