SNAP Outreach Coordinator

Fight HUNGER by linking more families to food benefits as a SNAP Outreach Coordinator as part of United Way of Eastern New Mexico's "Volunteers Build Us Up" program to alleviate poverty in our rural communities. Assist our regional Food Bank in effectively reaching out to the 2,000 families in our 5 county area who are eligible for but not enrolled in SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program/Food Stamp Program). Great experience of creating and managing a program that mobilizes volunteers to reduce meal insecurity in our rural counties.
