CPAF Resource Development Specialist

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) is a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, CA, recognized nationally for its pioneering work in domestic violence and sexual assault. CPAF’s multi-lingual and multi-cultural services include a 24-hour hotline, short term and long term shelters, counseling, case management, and supportive services. CPAF also provides violence prevention programs, outreach, education and advocacy on the issues of family violence and violence against women, focusing on the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community. The Resource Development Specialist is responsible for enhancing CPAF’s resource development outcomes by systematizing donor tracking, analysis, segmentation, and cultivation processes. The VISTA will also improve CPAF processes for identifying, tracking, cultivating, and engaging donors with the goal of leveraging at least $20,000 in cash resources. The ideal candidate will be committed to eliminating family violence and violence against women, with an understanding of API cultures (bilingual in API language is nice, but not required). Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a must, as are excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including public speaking and providing training. The VISTA will join a passionate, committed team of people who desire to transform the local community toward a violence-free future.
