It is an exciting time to serve with the City of South Bend. The City is staffed by dedicated and innovative professionals led by Mayor Pete Buttigieg. Rejecting the label of “dying city”, the community has developed a reputation of creative problem-solving and has invested in making South Bend a place all types of people love to call home. The City’s mission: “We deliver services that empower everyone to thrive” and our values are Excellence, Accountability, Innovation, Inclusion, and Empowerment. AmeriCorps members, through the South Bend Home Corps, will demonstrate our mission and values as they improve houses and lives. Join us -half-time opportunities available.
