MMI Autism Services

The MMI AmeriCorps program provides a “Service Through Learning” model of training where members work with board certified behavior analysts to gain clinical training required to become registered as behavioral technicians. Act Clinic AmeriCorps Members train in areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment and are more likely to remain in this areas for professional practice. This model has been an extremely effective method proven to retain highly needed behavioral health professionals in treatment areas (i.e., autism early intervention services) that traditionally have a shortage of adequately trained providers.
