Economic Opportunities in North Central New Mexico_Las Vegas
 
 
 
The project goal is to create new business and jobs for low-income persons by attracting new business, indirectly supporting existing businesses expand, indirectly supporting local entrepreneurs to create new businesses, and creating job matching programs for low-income persons. The VISTA Volunteer will help our organization achieve the goal by supporting business recruitment activities of the organization; developing an Entrepreneurship Program with higher education institutions in the area; and augment and accelerating the job matching and placement services companies, workforce centers, and economic development organizations

Member Duties : Outreach to companies, school officials, government staff and elected leaders, nonprofit organization representatives and others; conduct research; design and market economic and workforce development projects.
