| Member Duties : The VISTA Volunteer Recruitment and Education Specialist will build capacity in our volunteer program. Items that would add support to the FPP program and that the VISTA would complete include mentoring programs, educational programs, community volunteers for our day center, college student volunteers, volunteer sign up, volunteer training and volunteer appreciation events. The VISTA will work to enhance and streamline the structured volunteer sign up and training process. Family Promise of the Palouse has a large array of potential college student volunteers as we are home of two Land Grant Universities. The VISTA will work to strengthen ties with this population, in addition to the general population.
