Communications Coordinator VISTA

The Washington Trafficking Prevention VISTA project will highlight the need and strengthen the capacity for community members to join the fight against human trafficking. We believe that while no one person alone can end human trafficking, together, with our youth, we can address the culture that tolerates and contributes to exploitation. Through strengthening communications and resource development (grant writing) systems, the VISTA members will develop capacity for community members to learn about human trafficking and to take individual and collective action to prevent human trafficking in our communities. Washington Trafficking Prevention’s work is focused on empowering youth by training adults and facilitating program in-schools and in out-of-school youth-serving agencies and empowering communities through community Coalitions Against Trafficking groups.
