Member Duties : • Evaluate procedures for tracking the construction process from permitting to land development and through construction and inspection. Review resources available from HFHI, other affiliates. Compare findings to current affiliate methods
• Research improvements in work site safety and training for volunteers
• Research enhancements to processes in order to expand our work into owner-occupied repairs. Identify neighborhoods that could benefit from Neighborhood Revitalization projects
• Develop and document a plan to improve or expand construction operations
• Develop systems for improvements to the construction process, such as inventory management and construction budgets and schedules, to include software or databases to make the process easy to track and reference
• Implement systems for improvements to the safety manuals, site volunteer trainings, emergency plans, etc. Assist in implementing new safety training series for construction staff
