Understanding Impact Data Analyst, NHS of Chicago
 
 
 
Our Goal is to make data informed decisions to focus NHS of Chicago resources and efforts to have the most significant sustainable positive impact on our clients, residents, and communities by helping them become successful long-term homeowners and helping them to afford to maintain and stay in their homes long-term. While we track client data over the short-term, we have not tracked impact over time. The Vista will work with the Program Analyst to understand impact data collection, client surveys, and the way this information is currently presented, to help improve the process. The Vista will then partner with the Program Analyst to determine what long-term data points available to use to understand long-term impact. This program will look at a sampling of our client base over the last 6-10 years, to determine and document • If people we assisted with foreclosure prevention/repair were able to remain in their homes over time • If people we helped to become homeowners have been able to maintain and remain in their homes long-term • How NHS has impacted the lives of clients 6-10 years after we initially started working with them Much of the information to determine if the residents we assisted were able to afford to stay in their homes long-term can be researched on-line. The Vista will conduct and document this research, create visuals, and present the findings to the NHS of Chicago management team. A byproduct of the Vista’s work will be a “toolkit” of recommended graphics for NHS to use on an ongoing basis to show our impact on our client base. Gaining insight into past and current long-term impact will help NHS of Chicago design and implement programs and strategies to best serve residents for the long-term going toward.
