Kupu Community Resilience – County of Kauai
 
 
 
The Kupu Community Resilience VISTA will work with County of Kauai to build resiliency for the rural community of Hawaii against the adverse effects of climate change. Rising sea levels, extreme weather patterns, and other effects of climate change further constrains resources for rural island communities, disrupting their food and economic systems. The Kupu Community Resilience VISTA will build capacity in the County of Kauai (CoK) to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to forecasted impacts of climate change, particularly for the most vulnerable populations.
