*Goodwill VISTA* YMCA Data Analyst, Portland

Founded in 1853, the YMCA of Southern Maine is one of the oldest YMCAs in the country. Our mission is to build strong kids, individuals, families, and communities through programs and services that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, regardless of ability to pay. Our three areas of focus are youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. • Youth Development: Nurturing the potential of every child and teen, we focus on building achievement, healthy relationships, and a sense of belonging. • Healthy Living: Being healthy means more than simply being physically active; it entails maintaining a balanced spirit, mind, and body through a focus on nine dimensions of well-being, including belonging, relationships, safety and more. • Social Responsibility: When we work together, we move communities forward. We continue to respond to society’s needs by developing sustainable, community-based solutions. The YMCA of Southern Maine’s four branches and seven before-and-after-school sites serve over 30,000 individuals each year. Last year, we provided more than $2,100,000 in financial assistance and program support to over 10,000 youth, individuals, and families to ensure access to all YMCA programs, regardless of ability to pay.
