THN Homeless Continuum of Care Data VISTA (Austin)
 
 
 
The Texas Homeless Network (THN) works to provide solutions to end homelessness in Texas communities through education, resources, and advocacy. Currently, THN has VISTA members placed throughout the state working on capacity building and program development to assist communities in ending homelessness. This VISTA project will build capacity to support and advance the data processes goals of the Balance of State at THN. To achieve this goal, the VISTA will assist the Balance of State team with improving data collection and overall system performance.

Member Duties : 1.) Familiarize with current data collection, reporting, sharing, & databases used. 2.) Research current data & performance requirements for the TX BoS CoC in regards to PIT (Point In Time), HIC (Housing Inventory Count), System Performance Measures, CoC & ESG project performance. 3.) Organize & participate in the application of new & enhanced processes. 4.) Work with initiative partners & community leadership to expand coordination efforts across CoC geography. 5.) Produce & distribute materials on the state of homelessness & CoC performance. 6.) Assist in creating a plan for data collection, management, & sharing on a community-wide level. 7.)
