NYC VISTA - Poverty Roadmap Project VISTA
 
 
 
The New York City Human Resources Administration/Department of Social Services (HRA/DSS) is dedicated to fighting poverty and income inequality by providing New Yorkers in need with essential benefits such as Food Assistance and Emergency Rental Assistance. Member Duties : You will develop a roadmap for coordination amongst human services entities to address poverty in a more targeted and holistic approach. The roadmap will be a document that outlines the issues that exist in the sector, identifying the gaps and laying out current services. The end result will include a series of recommendations and action items for the city to implement through the end of the current administration. Contribute towards developing a roadmap for human services agencies including quantitatively and qualitatively assess potential policies, in coordination with appropriate partners, on an ongoing basis, including an evaluation of best practices and make recommendations to inform roadmap development as well as support the writing, coordination, and submission for relevant strategic priorities in the plan.
