US2020/Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative
 
 
 
The Greater Cincinnati STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Collaborative (GCSC) helps prepare students for their futures and to join Greater Cincinnati’s workforce through connected, robust STEM learning pathways. STEM learning is propelled by business, education, community collaboration and our culture of incubation, acceleration, and inclusion. GCSC’s vision is that Greater Cincinnati continues its growth as a technologically rich, vibrant community with the most talented STEM workforce in the country that is representative of the region’s population. GCSC leads three programs that engage K-12 students in mentor-supported, hands-on STEM learning and making across Greater Cincinnati’s three-state region (northern KY, southeast IN, and southwest OH: the STEM Bicycle Club, the 3d Printers Club, and Summer of STEM.

Member Duties : GCSC is seeking a Compelling Communications VISTA member ready to leverage GCSC’s communication assets to engage more people, communities, and organizations in equitable K-12 STEM education and workforce development. The VISTA member will develop, and lead implementation of, a robust communications plan that includes audience (who), desired action (why), key messages (what), strategy (how), and media (where). The VISTA member will be coached by team members and partners with significant experience in marketing at P&G, the world’s largest advertiser that is headquartered in Cincinnati.
