Public Relations, Data Input, & Analysis Coordinator

The mission of the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Board, in partnership with the community, is to provide a comprehensive recovery-oriented system of care and prevention. In addition, the Board will continue to improve the quality of life of Butler County citizens through the support of addiction and mental health recovery services. Through this project, the Public Relations Support & Data Input & Analysis Coordinator will work with the Board to continue to strengthen county and community efforts to combat the opioid epidemic in Butler County. Through this project, the Board will continue to work to promote and coordinate enhanced communication both internally and externally to spread the word about available community resources and to continue to educate the community about the impact of addiction. The project will also utilize a data-informed approach to community education and information dissemination.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will orient themselves to the local community and familiarize themselves with the local system of care and community stakeholders. The VISTA member will promote and coordinate enhanced Board communication both internally through staff and governing Board members and externally via provider and stakeholder system about resources available to address the opiate epidemic. The VISTA member will also work with the Board staff and community partners to conduct data analysis for the Board and community stakeholders with county statistics and outcomes to better understand and highlight the work occurring at the Board and in the community to address the opiate epidemic.
