ADC - Systems Development Specialist (MCN)
 
 
 
African Development Center helps the African immigrant and refugee community grow businesses, build wealth, and increase investment in Minnesota’s African communities. Our overall objective is to help the African immigrant and refugee community participate effectively in the market economy; to this end, we provide business lending, financial education, homeownership training, and business development services.

Member Duties : Data management: • Creating data management systems to increase efficiency and accuracy of reporting. This may include the creation of Excel or Access templates or the implementation of an out-of-the-box solution. • Analyzing data to help accurately tell ADC’s story to current and prospective funders, community partners, and clients. • Improving the overall front-desk workflow Program development: • Developing and implementing a robust volunteer recruitment and management strategy • Training staff on effective volunteer management skills • Improving client and volunteer satisfaction with ADC programs • Collecting long-term outcome data from clients (i.e. did clients buy a house after participating in homeownership training?)
