NYC VISTA - Data & Innovation VISTA
 
 
 
The Data & Innovation VISTA will create a system for training and supporting schools to develop the technical skills to use data to improve student outcomes. Their work will be aimed at reducing chronic absenteeism in Community Schools by helping schools use New Visions data tools to personalize supports for students and build accountability and follow-through. Additionally, they will support school’s learning and application of results-based leadership skills.

Member Duties : 1. Develop a system for providing school-facing introductory training to Community School Directors and other school staff, including a system for schools to schedule training opportunities 2. Develop and improve existing system for provisioning and managing G Suite accounts for users accessing the New Visions data tools. 3. Develop monthly newsletter to be distributed to all Community Schools with tips and tricks for using the New Visions data tools 4. Develop instructional materials (How-to Guides, FAQ lists, etc) on getting access the Office of Community Schools G Suite accounts. 5. Develop and improve existing training materials (How-to Guides, Videos, etc) and webinars on using the New Vision data tool. 6. Co-create and implement quarterly in-person workshops for the result-based leadership learning community of CSDs. 7. Host and co-lead monthly webinars for the result-based leadership and using data for improvement. 8. Develop and improve existing training materials
