Volunteer Recruitment Member - Higher Achievement
 
 
 
The position includes direct involvement with scholars and tasks to support Higher Achievement’s progressive, skills-based cultural and academic model. Serving closely with the Senior Manager of Volunteer Recruitment and Development to identify, recruit, train, and support volunteers. Responsibilities will focus on four key areas: • Volunteer recruitment • Volunteer onboarding and training • Study Hall Aide recruitment, management, and training • Center Buddy • Volunteer Retention

Member Duties : The Volunteer Recruitment member will typically serve Monday through Friday with some Saturday hours. Most service activities will take place between 9am to 5pm except for evening trainings and mentoring site visits. The Volunteer Recruitment Fellow may alter their start time for any days they expect to serve late because of trainings or site visits. The main responsibilities will include recruiting volunteer mentors to fill the 325 yearly positions and strategies on mentor training and retention.
