SKC Upward Bound is a college preparatory program designed to help low-income and first-generation students meet their postsecondary education goals. Upward Bound Team Leaders will work with students in grades 9-12 during the Upward Bound college preparatory summer component. They will provide support to students in completing academic, retention, career exploration, and college visitation activities designed to better prepare low income, first-generation Upward Bound students for success in postsecondary education. Students will complete academic course work at both the high school and college level, as well as participate in personal, cultural, community service, college visitation, and other enrichment activities.
