'20-'21 Resource Development VISTA- GCBH VISTA Program-PC
 
 
 
Are you ready to fight poverty and opioid misuse in Upstate South Carolina? In the fourth year of the Greenville County Behavioral Health VISTA program, the Resource Development VISTA will be working to help end the opioid epidemic in Greenville, SC. This VISTA will work on activities related to outreach, grant-writing, communication, and data analysis. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Greenville is located at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains. This position is eligible for a gym membership to a specific local facility and an annual housing stipend of $600 to be paid directly to the landlord.

Member Duties : This position is based at The Phoenix Center in Greenville, SC. This individual will strengthen the organization's current efforts to increase capacity for Medication Assisted Treatment Program services, establish and implement reporting guidelines, and generate funds for opioid use disorder clients at the Phoenix Center.
