2018-2019 Development and Program Analyst VISTA

The VISTA will build off the program development plan/toolkit, SCH’ Strategic Plan and recommendations of the prior year’s VISTA with a particular focus on the following resource and program development needs: Reviewing program data, data gathering tools/platforms and develop a demographic market analysis of SCH clients, with particular focus on market segments seniors (62-51 and 63+ years of age) and Millennials 36 and younger and Gen Xers, (37-51 years of age), identifying emerging market/community needs and developing a framework for multi-generational programming. Review and analyze SCH’s programs and current staffing and review onboarding process for new hires to identify gaps and opportunities in alignment with target market service delivery. Through this project, the VISTA will better position Spanish Coalition for Housing to strategically identify resources, value added opportunities to increase organizational capacity to address affordable housing preservation, creation, maintenance and household asset development through a multi-generational lens.

Member Duties : 1. VISTA will become acclimated with SCH programs and service area and work to define emerging markets/community needs and opportunities that align with SCH strategic priorities. 2. Develop a demographic market analysis of SCH clients, with particular focus on market segments seniors (62-51 and 63+ years of age) and Millennials 36 and younger and Gen Xers, (37-51 years of age). Research and analyze current program staffing position descriptions and onboarding process reflecting SCH current capacity to address market/community needs. 3. Formalize a program data mapping process to include (community asset mapping and program usage by target market segments (e.g. Seniors, Mllineals, Gen x). 4. Develop a basic dashboard for monthly program demographic review and recommendations for target demographic engagement, resource development needs and evaluate use of onboarding checklist
