SEG Communications Coordinator
 
 
 
Under the supervision of the Program Managers, this full-time, Providence-based VISTA will work with the Venture Development team to increase outreach and visibility of SEG services at RIC, CCRI, and other colleges, universities and technical training institutions and facilitate access to professional development opportunities via the SEG Talent Matchmaking program. The VISTA will continue forming partnerships with community agencies and intermediaries that can refer participants to the program. Additionally, the VISTA will focus on outreach and communications to service marginalized communities. The VISTA will further develop SEG Venture Development programming to be accessible, applicable and relevant for these populations.

Member Duties : -Ideate, develop, test, and analyze operational improvements for the Venture Development team and talent matchmaking program;- Improve marketing and outreach materials to promote SEG services for target populations; - Support daily communications activities and projects to improve overall visibility; - Support coordination of programs accessed by this target population including professional development opportunities through our Talent Matchmaking service, as necessary; - Develop relationships with community partners to help expand the reach of the entrepreneurs we serve; - Support data collection and improved impact metrics measurement through tracking, surveying and analysis; - Support development efforts for program expansion including market research and identifying sources of funding.
