ShareCorps -WARM- Summer Meal Associate
The Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club is a FREE program that provides hungry children aged 1-18 with nutritious meals and coordinated enrichment activities throughout the summer when school is not in session. The Kids Lunch Club began in the summer of 2011 at Ridgewood Park, and has successfully expanded each year since. We will have 10 outdoor sites this year. In 2018, we served 16,902 lunches at our SFSP sites and 17,172 weekend meals through the Governor's Weekend Backpack Program. This totals 34,074 meals! Additionally, we distributed over 63,000 lbs of fresh produce last summer.
