| Member Duties : The successful candidate will work directly with the Garden Manager to grow and harvest fresh produce in The Foodbank's 50 raised bed urban gardens. The candidate will also work independently to create a produce gleaning program that will source local produce directly from local growers. The VISTA will spend the majority of their time outdoors and will be offered a flexible schedule. Candidates will require superior community skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have some prior gardening experience. The Foodbank is a leading nonprofit in the Miami Valley and provides access to relevant training opportunities at no-cost to employees and VISTAs.
