ShareCorps -Homeless Families Foundation- Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Homesless Families Foundation is a homeless families' service provider in Columbus, Ohio. Porgrams include housing assistance, holistic Case Management, SPARK (pre-K program) and a children's education center (Dowd Education Center) fr afterschool and summer academic intervention and enrichment for children in kindergarten through middle school. It operates a Housing First agency: most families, with some help, are capable of living independently and can best work to address their issues when they are in a stable, long-term home environment. The children are an important focus of The Homeless Families Foundation. It's program of housing assistance is designed to provide immediate stability for children who may have been moving from place to place each night missing school and/or meals during their families' homelessness.

Member Duties : The Summer members will participate in the following: -Work with the cook to plan, prepare, serve, and clean up after daily meals -Help complete required SFSP paperwork -Assist with classrooms during afternoon activities -Work with the Development Director and Director of Education to complete and submit grant proposals
