ShareCorps-United Way- Financial Prosperity Center Assistant
 
 
 
United Way of Greater Stark County envisions a world where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through healthy lives, education, and financial stability. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. Our credo is: We win by living united. We do this by finding new-solutions to old problems, mobilizing the best resources and inspiring individuals to join the fight against their community’s most daunting social crises. The Financial Stability Impact Council Volunteers, envisions a community where a cycle for success exists, allowing individuals and families to have access, so they can build long-term, economic independence. Through a collaboration with OhioMeansJobs, the Financial Prosperity Center was developed to assist building this cycle for success and to focus on the root causes of poverty our community is challenged with. the Financial Prospertiy Center services all fall within three capstones: Financial education and coaching, Access to benefits and tax credits and workforce development services. When bundled together Stark County residents have a brighter future.

Member Duties : Help us improve our capacity for service provisions throughout various sectors of Stark County Ohio. Help build and grow our Financial Prosperity Center by providing quality, consumer friendly workforce, and financial stability services to a broader sector of Stark County. Ensure all residents have access to a cycle for financial success and stability, improve outcomes with every household, and see Stark County thrive. Join our team and help us move forward. Bring a customer service focus, efficient and effective communication skills, and a desire to increase the community’s assets and improve their financial stability beyond just meeting basic needs.
