SOTS - RMICC Resource Development Manager

Mission Statement: Our goal is to assist commerce that benefits American Indian Communities through Economic Development. We focus support to American Indian Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Students, Tribes, and non-native partners interested in partnering with Indian Country. Vision Statement: We do this through providing training and community development programs such as Tax workshops, Business Legislation workshops, Elders Progressive, 184 Mortgage Training, Health Equity Programs, Entrepreneurial Programs, and more. We also provide platforms such as the Indian Biz Expo, Natives Go Global, Golf Fundraising event, and other networking events and programs to allow American Indian Businesses and Professionals to highlight their businesses and network with key industry leaders. Our online presence is a go to hub for Commerce and American Indian Business, serving visitors from around the globe. We’ve partnered with the NCAIED American Indian PTAC to help American Indian Businesses with Government Contracts, now operating from the same facility. One of our longest legacies is the Annual American Indian Achievement Awards, supporting and recognizing American Indian Scholars, Businesses, Nonprofits, and Professionals. To date, this program has awarded more than $200K in Scholarships and Awards through grassroots fundraising efforts. The constituency base we serve spans the US (including Alaska), Canada, and abroad. This position will pursue grant opportunties that can fund long-term capacity building of the organization. Support outreach efforts to increase attendance and participation in three or four annual RMICC Events and monthly webinars. Manage engagement for webinar series, elder's progressive, and event elements. Discuss effectiveness via progress reports of measurable elements on weekly/bi-weekly basis.
