The Well CDC VISTA
 
 
 
The Well CDC’s Resident Services department exists to broaden the stability of families within the built environment of the Middlebury community by encouraging rentals that leads to mature tenancy, home ownership, and improved mental/physical health; career development and/or entrepreneurship opportunities that lead to economic mobility; and engagement within our local elementary school and neighborhood to increase social cohesion and neighborhood voice. Our 2022 sub-site VISTA project will support our Resident Services team in community engagement planning, event planning, neighborhood surveying, and neighborhood branding. Additionally, the sub-site VISTA project will support the leadership team in research as it pertains to equitable development.

Member Duties : The Well CDC’s Resident Services department exists to provide holistic support for residents that leads to long-term stability, economic mobility, and social cohesion. The first responsibility of the VISTA is to build the capacity of The Well CDC to increase our ability to engage the community through planning, surveying, branding, and events. The second responsibility is analyzing relevant research, policies, funding opportunities, and methods as it pertains to equitable and sustainable development.
