To facilitate partnership building between tribal departments and partners to foster development projects related to sustainable food production. Assisting in tasks related to securing seed and development of food production. Assist in the securing the seeds by conducting research with tribal members and the seed keepers. Assist in the development or maintenance of the 2018-2019 growing data of traditional seeds. Also assisting in the process orchard/garden implementation. Establish area for seeds for the Pawnee Seed Preservation Project to be processed, and stored in containers to keep out moisture and pests away.

Member Duties : To assist in tasks related to securing seed and development of food production. Organize communication, calendar, and filing system for VISTA workstation. All crops will be shared with Seniors Centers and Home Bound Seniors on the Pawnee Nation Reserve, or will be designated for other use (i.e. Farmer’s Market, or on-line sale). Assist in the fostering healthy meals training or growing food projects for elders, youth and their families. Building partnerships in the Pawnee Nation and surrounding areas.
