SHELTER ASSISTANT - MARY OF MOTHER HOPE HOUSE I
 
 
 
The Ministry of Caring's Mary Mother of Hope House I, is an emergency shelter for single women. The shelter provides a safe environment with intensive case management to homeless women to return to or begin on the path to self-sufficiency. The Ministry of Caring is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides a network of social, health and support services for those living in poverty, including the homeless and working poor, in the greater Wilmington area. The Ministry of Caring is comprised of many dedicated individuals who have come together to work towards one common purpose: to love and serve the poor. The Ministry of Caring's motto, “The poor should never be treated poorly,” holds true each and every day as the Ministry works to eradicate homelessness and poverty and help those most in need achieve self-sufficiency.

Member Duties : The Ministry of Caring AmeriCorps members are embedded within the Ministry of Caring's programs to assist our clients with finding safe, affordable housing and sustainable employment. We have filled all our full-time positions this year and will be looking to fill several minimum-time positions (both part-time and full-time basis).
