Fundraising Coordinator VISTA
 
 
 
The Fundraising Coordinator VISTA will be an integral part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada family, developing Nutrition and Food Security program capacity to better serve our most in-need demographic. This individual will assist in developing Nutrition and Food Security services for our most in-need families. This position will build capacity of the Nutrition program by developing assessment criteria for program participants and tracking program activities. They will identify resources for referring families to external support networks. They will work with the Resource Development Director to identify funding opportunities for programming and capital improvements to build the capacity of the Club to administer Nutrition programming. This individual will also work with the other VISTA members on capacity-building to support overall club programs.

Member Duties : Primary Responsibilities Communicate and collaborate with program staff on a daily basis; Develop assessment criteria for Nutrition Program participants; Track and record program activities; Develop funding pipelines for program capacity building that include tasks such as the identification of opportunity/funder prospects, the development of presentations and grant submissions; Communicate and collaborate with the Boys & Girls Clubs marketing team for advertising new opportunities; Work with program staff and the Program Development Coordinator VISTA to identify the needs of the Nutrition and Food Security Programs, among other Club program activities; Work with Resource Development Director to secure sustainable community partnerships and program funding. This member will have a tremendous impact on the future sustainability of the Club, allowing us to better serve the more than 3,000 members and ensuring a healthy future for the next generation.
