Member Duties : - Recruit and engage Elijah’s Promise guests and clients to join the garden and nutrition club.
- Help staff run programming in Promise Agriculture spaces and the community soup kitchen.
- Keep accurate records of client and volunteer engagement for reporting purposes.
- Develop surveys for soup kitchen guests and clients to ensure participant satisfaction and identify key programmatic improvements.
- Participate in recruiting, and organizing donations for the Homeless Empowerment Action Response Team for social service clients
- Help the Associate Director analyze any data pertaining to these programs
- Assist staff in devising hand-outs and curriculum items for Let’s Cook and other community cooking classes and outreach.
- Assist with planning and executing the free educational workshop series and inviting clients of Elijah’s Promise.
- Attend community events, forums, or meetings with partner organizations like the New Brunswick Community Food Alliance.
