Flint Community School Corps - Family Engagement VISTA

The Crim Fitness Foundation supports a Flint Community Schools Corps comprised of 22 AmeriCorps VISTA members who build capacity for community education in all 11 Flint Community Schools. VISTAs build resources, engage volunteers, support families, and collaborate with community partners. VISTA members ultimately address the root problems of underachievement, improve student academic performance (with a focus in literacy and STEM courses) and school attendance, and reduce student disciplinary incidents.
