Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Services Specialist
 
 
 
Already one of Idaho’s largest not for profits with operations statewide, a yearly volunteer count of 1275+ and 385 Full- Time and 40 Part-Time staff, Idaho Youth Ranch is on the cusp of significant expansion by opening a new, year-round residential ranch for youth, adding 100+ staff positions as it substantially increases its impact on youth and families. From Idaho Falls to Coeur d’Alene, from retail employees to licensed therapists, from recently arrived refugees to long-time not-for-profit staff, from workforce development programs to equine assisted psychotherapy, and from trauma treatment to adoption services, the playing field that Idaho Youth Ranch provides this opportunity is a place for growth, learning and understanding how best to support the unpaid team members and community partners that support the agency. Member Duties : Our Volunteer Services VISTA member will engage the community in our mission through various ways - in a post COVID world! They will collaborate with agency teams to design and implement onboarding, training, retention and feedback tools. They will collaborate with the Recruitment & Engagement VISTA on awareness and outreach opportunities. They will work within the agency to identify areas of capacity building and empowerment of volunteers.
