| Member Duties : The VISTA will increase capacity by: (1) conducting foundational research to inform evidence and community based program development; (2) Develop and enhance children and family health education programs using the data gathered; (3) Develop and enhance prevention education programs presented in Whatcom County schools using data gathered. By expanding and enhancing this facet of DVSAS services, the VISTA member will develop both a sustainable support pathway out of poverty for families as well as pathway of prevention for children and youth.
