SEG VISTA Leader
 
 
 
Under the supervision of the Program Director, this full-time, Providence-based VISTA Leader is assigned by CNCS to assist VISTA members in the Social Enterprise Greenhouse sponsored VISTA cohort. The VISTA Leader supports VISTA members in the cohort in achieving program objectives and developing new project activities and sources of community support. Leaders set an example of leadership for AmeriCorps VISTA members, ensure positive relations, facilitate idea-sharing, and mediate issues with the community, the project, supervisors, and AmeriCorps VISTA members by developing and coordinating cohort trainings, social activities, etc. Leaders also play a support role to host sites in recruiting, mentoring, and coordinating AmeriCorps VISTA members. This role is only available to those that have previously served as an AmeriCorps Member, or Peace Corps member.

Member Duties : Member Duties: Support the VISTA Intermediary with professional development program, day to day communications, and coordination with VISTA Members at sponsor sites; Develop and manage activities and processes that support Member recruitment and engagement activities; Develop and manage resource materials, mentorship programs, and workshops to help advance professional career of Members and program improvement of host sites; Support the improvement of metrics tracking among Members; Support Members through coordinating programming activities at the hub.
