Moving Forward Project Coordinator
 
 
 
Energy Systems Network (ESN) is a non-profit initiative of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), headquartered in Indianapolis focused on growing the clean technology sector. ESN leverages its network of global thought leaders to develop integrated energy solutions to increase quality of life for today and tomorrow. Our collective focus is to reduce costs, emissions and waste; influence policy; and advance technological innovation. ESN is working with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) to encourage development of sustainable affordable housing developments with integrated transportation options. This project, called Moving Forward, will enhance the quality of life for Hoosiers by providing quality housing and transportation while reducing the cost of ownership for residents. Low- to moderate income families will be able to spend less on utility bills and transportation while accessing services to help them reach self-sufficiency. ESN is seeking a motivated, highly capable individual to serve as a Project Coordinator for the Moving Forward program, in partnership with ESN's current VISTA. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all Moving Forward development teams in various stages of designing their affordable housing developments and will serve as a liaison among ESN, IHCDA, and developer teams to enhance communication, sharing of best practices, and creating partnerships to establish healthier, more energy efficient living environments for their residents. The role supports 10+ teams working on 50+ affordable housing developments across Indiana. VISTA members will work out of Indianapolis and will be expected to travel throughout Indiana as needed to work directly with the developments' communities. VISTA members will encourage collaboration and communication among local stakeholders and maximize alignment with the Moving Forward efficiency design goals.

Member Duties : The Moving Forward Project Coordinator will work with ESN and IHCDA to implement a strategy to embrace the energy efficiency, mobility, and poverty alleviation goals of the Moving Forward program in all Moving Forward properties in development across the state of Indiana. VISTA duties in this role include: • Ensure developer teams are working to meet all requirements of Moving Forward program, including energy efficiency and quality of life goals; • Conducting community outreach by working with state/local government, community agencies, and other stakeholders to maximize the potential for wrap-around services for residents of the developments; • Coordinating meetings with developer teams and stakeholders for regular communication and to gain community engagement in the development process; and • Identifying educational services, employment services, and funding opportunities to further support Moving Forward developments in the long-term.
