Are you ready to fight poverty and opioid use disorder in Upstate South Carolina? As a Greenville County Behavioral Health (GCBH) VISTA focused on substance use disorder, you will be doing important work, and your expertise will make a profound difference. Each GCBH VISTA is eligible for an annual housing stipend of $600 paid directly to the landlord. Greenville, South Carolina continues to receive national and international recognition for its southern charm, opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, arts scene, sports culture, and cuisine. Greenville has been lauded by The New York Times as one of the 52 cities in the world to visit, by USA Today as one of the 10 best emerging destinations, and as one of America’s ten best downtowns for its combination of revitalized commercial and park space. Member Duties : This individual will enhance Just Say Something's (JSS) current marketing and development processes related to its opioid prevention programming. The VISTA helps implement sustainable systems for promoting the organization and its programs, thereby allowing for a reduction of opioid/prescription medication abuse and enabling a healthier community.
