Member Duties : AmeriCorps members serve at one of four Boys & Girls Club locations: Covington, Gretna, New Orleans, Slidell. Corps members will lead students in afterschool educational and enrichment activities to help them succeed in today's world. AmeriCorps members are required to participate in at least 1 national service project. There are three potential terms of service: August-December; January-May; and June-July. Members must complete a minimum of 300 hours of service.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, from 2:30pm-6:30pm during school time and Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm during summer months.
