FIT VISTA- Program and Marketing Coordinator VISTA
 
 
 
The NH Coalition to End Homelessness (NHCEH), a nonprofit organization with headquarters in Manchester, NH, was founded in 1990. As homelessness increased throughout the state, individuals and organizations began working on solutions to house and serve this growing population. In response, the NHCEH organized leaders in the state to research solutions on ending homelessness, educate providers on best practices, and empower people to advocate on behalf of the homeless. Our belief is that having a home is a basic human right and is fundamental to becoming an engaged and contributing member of our community.

Member Duties : The primary task will be to expand our capacity to carryout innovative projects related to research, education and advocacy for homeless services in NH. This VISTA will coordinate activities related to the NH Governor’s Interagency Council on Homelessness, will coordinate the Granite Leaders program, coordinate activities for our annual state of homelessness in NH report, organize at least 3 community trainings and aide in coordinating staff trainings, coordinate the Hope Starts Here scholarship program, and research and submit grants. Additionally, this VISTA will coordinate and execute marketing for all NHCEH programs, develop and release the organization’s quarterly newsletter, manage social media outlets, and manage the NHCEH website. This VISTA is expected to work regular operating hours, which are 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. On occasion, special events or opportunities will require the VISTA to work during evenings or on weekends.
