West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence

The Communication and Public Awareness Coordinator VISTA will enhance the organizational and social capacity of the WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WVCADV) to improve community based-responses to victims and survivors of domestic violence by developing, coordinating, and implementing statewide communication and public awareness strategies. Communication and public awareness strategies will target the community/general public, advocacy organizations, and victim/survivors experiencing domestic violence. As a result of the VISTA member’s service, awareness will be increased and domestic violence will be elevated as an issue statewide, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty in West Virginia.
