| Member Duties : The VISTA will have the primary duty of co-creation, execution, & iteration of the US2020 Dallas-focused marketing & communications plans, in collaboration with the Engagement/Community Impact Department. This position will be charged with creating & managing media & marketing support for regional UW counties around this work. The individual in this role will use electronic communications as primary vehicle to build relationships with key stakeholder. This will involve extensive writing & editing skills for online & all print communications. Knowledge of graphic design, social media trends will be helpful but not required; however, creativity & a passion for story-telling is a must. The VISTA will contribute to the building & connectivity of a local STEM network through communications & marketing with the goal of promoting & telling the story of STEM enrichment for youth & mentor opportunities for volunteers across North Texas. MANDATORY orientation the week prior to service.
