United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) is a non-profit on a mission to change lives forever in our community by investing in three interconnected areas: education, financial stability, & health. We tackle tough issues that make a lasting difference here in North Texas, & we create opportunities for our community to succeed – like graduating from college & preparing career-ready teens; helping folks find jobs & keep more of what they earn; enabling access to quality health care; & ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home.
