Native Food Sovereignty Fellows
Two (2) Native Food Sovereignty Fellows will selected for one location in Minnesota. Native Food Sovereignty Fellows will become part of a cadre of 21 VISTA members who will be assigned to sites that will be located throughout Indian Country. We are recruiting 2 VISTA for each of 10 sites involved in this project to work on issues economic sustainability, community resilience, health, and food sovereignty.

Member Duties : Duties include food sovereignty community assessment support; develop a team of community volunteers willing to work with the Fellows during their assignment; attend trainings offered by IFAI (required activity); public presentations; community organization relationship and support engagement; log all activities on a regular basis with progress reports to key project requirements; attend period trainings provided by IFAI in regional location; identify and analyze information and support needs for each Tribe.
