Native Food Sovereignty Fellows
The Native Food Sovereignty Fellows program will deploy a cadre of VISTA members assigned to sites located throughout Indian Country to include Tribal community placement in the Alaska, Northwest, Rocky Mountain, Great Plains, Midwest, Southwest and Eastern Oklahoma BIA Regions. We are recruiting 1 or 2 VISTA members for each site where the they will engage with issues and concerns related to economic sustainability, community resilience, health, and food sovereignty. The VISTA Leader will be stationed at the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative offices in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and will assist the VISTA Coordinator with recruitment, marketing, training and management of the program.

Member Duties : The VISTA Leader will be stationed in the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative offices in Fayetteville, Arkansas and assistance to the VISTA Coordinator and technical support to the cohort of Native Food Sovereignty Fellows working in the program.
