Native Food Sovereignty Fellows
 
 
 
Native Food Sovereignty Fellows will become part of a cadre of VISTA members who will be assigned to sites that will be located throughout Indian Country but in year one will include Tribal community placement with Tribes in South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Midwest, Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Oklahoma, South and Eastern BIA Regions. We are recruiting 2 VISTA for each of 10 sites where the issues and concerns related to economic sustainability, community resilience, health, and food sovereignty are the most profound. VISTA selected will work alongside the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative who will supervise all VISTA and work with them on local projects. The VISTA Leader will be stationed at the Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative in Fayetteville, AR.

Member Duties : The VISTA Leader will be stationed with the IFAI staff in Fayetteville, Arkansas and provide technical support to all the other 20 Native Food Sovereignty Fellows working with the Native Food Sovereignty Fellows program.
